TUFNOL COMPOSITES LIMITED is a long-established UK contract manufacturer, with a legacy dating back to the 1920s, specialising in engineering composites and non-metallic materials. Now part of the Diamorph Group and operating from their Centre of Excellence in Gloucester, Tufnol produces proprietary synthetic resin bonded laminated composites. They impregnate various reinforcing materials like paper, cotton, glass, and carbon fibre with advanced resins, including high-temperature polyimides, which are then formed under heat and pressure and machined into bespoke components.

The company possesses extensive in-house capabilities, including one of Europe's largest CNC machining centres with 3-axis and 5-axis machines, alongside water jet cutting, CNC turning, traditional machining, and a new resin infusion process for moulded structures. Tufnol's materials are recognised for their reliability, durability, mechanical strength, excellent chemical and weather resistance, rigidity, low weight, and effective electrical and thermal insulation, making them suitable for demanding applications across sectors such as aerospace, defence, energy, marine, rail, and automotive. They also offer technical support, design guidelines, and reverse engineering services.
