A1In-house design service
agent“Supported by the latest 2D & 3D CAD modelling software, we have the ability to turn models/designs into real parts quickly, easily and accurately.”
A23D scanning capability
agent“The Axiom Too offers us a complete measuring package, with PC, peripherals, Aberlink 3D Measuring Software, a Renishaw probe, styli, a reference sphere and mist filters. The machine is a fully motorised moving bridge type CMM with a granite & honeycomb aluminium bed - offering support for components up to 300kg. It's unique design of self adjusting air bearings are used on each axis to provide excellent stability. We have also purchased the Aberlink Camera System. This allows non-contact measurement to be carried out. The image is displayed on the monitor and full edge detection tools are available from within the 3D Measuring Software. The camera system offers a manual focus lens, for extra clarity, with focal lengths up to 400mm, with a field view of 35mm. It is also fully backlit, giving a clear, crisp image.”

Specialised Engineering Products Limited (SEP) is a UK-based contract manufacturer established in 1976, located in Romsey, Hampshire. The company specialises in engineered parts, with a particular focus on sealing components, and employs just under 40 staff.
SEP's core manufacturing capabilities include CNC waterjet and knife cutting for gaskets and profiles, rubber moulding, extrusion, and the production of inflatable seals. They also offer precision machined components and safety products. Their advanced waterjet cutting technology features a micro-head capable of achieving 0.03mm tolerances and cutting materials up to 300mm thick. For machined components, SEP employs 5-axis milling and mill-turning, supported by SolidWorks Professional for 3D modelling and FeatureCAM for CAM programming. They also operate a cleanroom machining environment and utilise an Aberlink Axiom Too CNC CMM for inspection. SEP serves a broad spectrum of demanding industries, including Petrochemical, Food and Pharma, Aerospace, Marine, Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Railway, Defence, and Formula 1.
SEP holds significant quality accreditations, including ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100, and is also BSI and Joscar certified, with Cyber Essentials re-certification achieved. The company highlights its in-house design and manufacturing services, including tooling production, and emphasises early client involvement for cost, design, and production benefits. Key differentiators include procedural control of multiple part disciplines at a single location, over 40 years of experience, and a commitment to responsive manufacturing with in-house facilities and material stocks. SEP also offers specialised services such as rubber-to-metal bonding and 'cleanroom' manufacturing, particularly for the food and pharmaceutical sectors, adhering to FDA 21CFR 177.2600 and USP Class VI standards.
