NBS Ltd, established in 1991 and based in Radcliffe, Manchester, is a UK-based contract manufacturer specialising in precision engineering, gear cutting, and broaching. With extensive broaching capabilities, including internal and surface broaching, the company possesses a significant stock of over 1400 broaching tools and eight broaching machines, enabling them to produce a wide range of keyways and complex internal forms.

Their comprehensive service portfolio extends to gear cutting, with four gear hobbers and four gear shapers for producing spur and helical gears, as well as precision engineering for components from small keyways to intricate gearboxes. NBS also offers CNC turning and milling, alongside specialised equipment for pressing operations. Notably, they can broach a variety of materials beyond steel, including Tufnol, plastic, and industrial nylon.

NBS Ltd provides an integrated engineering management service, offering on-site advice to optimise manufacturing processes and improve efficiency. Following the acquisition of Thomas Wareing & Company, they expanded their expertise to include the design, supply, and refurbishment of broaching tools.
