Magnetic Shields Limited (MSL), based in Staplehurst, Kent, England, is a specialist contract manufacturer with over 65 years of experience in designing and producing active and passive magnetic shielding solutions. They offer comprehensive end-to-end engineering services, from initial specification and concept generation through to detailed design, simulation, prototype testing, and lifecycle management. MSL serves a global customer base, exporting approximately 400,000 products annually to 35 countries, with support from US and EU subsidiaries, though all manufacturing remains in the UK.

MSL's integrated manufacturing processes are a key differentiator, notably their in-house heat treatment capabilities utilizing seven NADCAP-approved hydrogen atmosphere furnaces, including Europe's largest commercial vacuum hydrogen heat treatment furnace. They work with a wide range of materials, including nickel-iron alloys like Mumetal®, and employ advanced CNC machinery, laser cutting, 5-axis milling, metal spinning, and automated presses for precision sheet metal fabrication.
