Kugel Motion Limited is a UK-based contract manufacturer, established in 2009 and located in Derbyshire. The company specialises in the precision manufacturing and repair of ball screws, satellite roller screws, and related components, offering custom assemblies, low noise and precision ball screws, and rapid manufacture of replacement parts. They also provide comprehensive repair services for linear actuators, screw jacks, and spindles.

Operating from a 2,500 sq ft facility, Kugel Motion is equipped with advanced machinery including 4 & 5-axis CNC milling machines, CNC turning, cylindrical grinding up to 1600mm, surface grinding, and precision thread grinders. Their expertise extends to journal reclamation, ball screw regrinding, and design, serving a variety of industries with a particular focus on aerospace and defence applications, providing bespoke prototype and miniature batch work for OEM customers.

A key differentiator for Kugel Motion is their unique in-house capability for precision internal thread grinding of ball nuts and external thread grinding of ball screws, making them the only UK company able to perform miniature precision ground ball screw manufacture entirely in-house. Their repair process includes a detailed 22-point assessment and drag torque testing, with a 12-month warranty. The company holds a BSI AS9100 certification.
